Seiko Prospex Speedtimer 8R Automatic Chronograph Watch 42mm SSC955P1

Since 1987, Seiko has been the Official Timekeeper of World Athletics. For World Athletics 2025, Seiko is marking a new chapter in this historic partnership with the launch of a limited edition of the Prospex Speedtimer Solar Chronograph SSC955P1 .

With 39mm steel case with screw-down caseback.

The dial is inspired by "Edo purple" with black subdials and a red-accented second hand. It features Lumibrite on the hands and indexes.

The crystal is double-curved sapphire with anti-reflective coating on the inner surface.

The movement is a solar-powered caliber V192, with an accuracy of ±15 seconds per month and a battery life of approximately 6 months (when fully wound). It features chronograph functions up to 60 minutes in 1/5-second increments, a stop-second function, and a date display between 4 and 5 o'clock.

It has a water resistance of 100m (10 ATM).

The bracelet is made of steel with a three-fold clasp with a push-button opening.
