Seiko Presage Classic Series Indigo Aiiro 40mm SPB527J1

This new Seiko Presage watch joins the Classic Series family, dazzling with its indigo color, Aiiro. This is a popular Japanese color since ancient times and widely recognized around the world.

During the samurai era, it was known as the "lucky color," and later, during the Meiji era, foreigners came to know it as "Japan Blue," as it was from that city where the color's fabrics could be found. Now, the Seiko Presage Automatic watch is here to add a new appeal to your wrist.

This striking color is appreciated thanks to the curved, textured dial, which represents the soft, supple feel of Japanese textiles. Thus, the dial captures and reflects ambient light, creating a greater sense of depth.

With the indexes slightly curved to fit the rounded dial, the minute and seconds hands gently slope toward the markers. This effect adds beauty and depth to the functions, including the 24-hour hand and stop-seconds functions.

As for the movement, the watch features a manual-winding automatic movement, Calibre 6R5J, with an accuracy of +25 to -15 seconds per day, a power reserve of approximately 72 hours, and 24 jewels.

The case is made of super-hardened stainless steel and measures 40.2 mm in diameter and 13 mm thick. The caseback is screw-down and transparent. A subdial at 9 o'clock provides a view of the movement.

The crystal protecting the dial is double-curved sapphire with anti-reflective coating on the inner surface.

The strap is made of steel with a folding clasp with a push-button opening.

It is submersible up to 100m (10 ATM) and has a magnetic resistance of 4,800 A/m.
