This Seiko Presage Sharp Edged GMT Akebono EL watch is a limited edition of 2000 units. This edition combines traditional mechanics with a modern Japanese style.

This watch evokes the akebono, a Japanese term that expresses the moment when the darkness of night gives way to dawn. Symbol of the beginning of a new day.

The sphere stands out with a bright center followed by a darkened perimeter, thus achieving a very bright gradient. The rose gold of the hands reminds us of the sun. In contrast, the dark box refers us to the night and the last moments of darkness.

Unlike other Sharp Edged models, this design features lightning-inspired trapezoid indices. Also noteworthy is the pointed-finish seconds hand in white.

The caseback is transparent so that the GMT caliber 6R64 automatic movement can be seen.

The black steel case is 42.2mm in diameter with a thickness of 13.65mm. The crystal is sapphire and the bracelet is also in black steel with a folding clasp.
