Seiko Prospex 1968 Heritage Diver's GMT 60th Anniversary Watch 42mm SPB509J1

This model is a reinterpretation of Seiko 's classic 1968 diving watch, a high-end marine sports GMT diving watch.

On this watch, the GMT hand can be set independently in one-hour increments, and a second time zone can be displayed at a glance.

The case is made of stainless steel with super-hard coating, with a diameter of 42mm and a thickness of 13.3mm.

The crystal is sapphire with anti-reflective coating on the inner surface, with screw-down crown and case back.

The most striking feature of this limited edition is its dial, which represents the turbulent sea. The wave-like texture is a symbol of Seiko diving watches and a testament to their exceptional technology. Furthermore, this dynamic embossed pattern changes its appearance depending on the angle from which you view it, evoking the movement of the deep sea.

On the back of the box we also find the embossed wave engraving, as well as the limited edition, which reminds us of the exclusivity of the piece.

The unidirectional rotating bezel has a very elegant blue tone with white numbering that stands out to facilitate its functionality.

The hands and 12 markers feature Lumibrite for legibility, standing out alongside the gold-tone GMT hand.

The bracelet is made of steel with three links that allow it to fit snugly around the wrist. It features a new three-fold clasp with a secure locking mechanism. This new clasp can be adjusted in six increments, each approximately 2.5 mm. It offers a comfortable fit at all times, adapting to changes in wrist size during diving and everyday life.

The movement is automatic with manual winding capacity caliber 6R54 with an alternation of 21,600 per hour (6 seconds), 24 jewels and a power reserve of 72 hours.
