This Seiko 's movement is an automatic caliber 4R36, with a power reserve of approximately 41 hours and 24 jewels. Among its functions, in addition to the hours, minutes, and seconds, are the stop-seconds function and the date window, with day and date display at 3 o'clock.

The stainless steel case measures 37.4 mm in diameter and 12.5 mm thick, with a transparent screw-down caseback. The dial is protected by a double-curved Hardlex crystal.
