Seiko 5 Sports SSK023K1 GMT black 39.4mm watch

Seiko presents the Seiko 5 Sports Field GMT SSK023K1 watch, its first sports model in the 5 Sports family with a GMT function. The thick, curved crystal improves durability, the five-piece link design bracelet along with the three-fold closure with secure locking, give this watch a mix of elegance and sportiness perfect for travelers.

The LumiBrite-coated hands and indices ensure high readability in low light, and the red GMT hand on the black dial background highlights what is needed for viewing.

The Seiko 5 Sports collection has been known for over fifty years for its reliability, durability and performance. "5" represents the original five key features of all Seiko 5 watches that are still present today: automatic movement, day and date display, water resistance, recessed crown, and durable case and bracelet.

This watch features a 39.4mm stainless steel case with a thickness of 13.6mm.

The curved Hardlex glass also protects the front and back of the case from scratches and breaks. The exhibition threaded caseback offers the wearer a glimpse into the watch's internal workings.

The dial is presented in black and hour markers filled with LumiBrite material, which guarantees readability of the dial in the dark. A date display window replaces the 3 o'clock marker.

This Seiko is powered by the caliber 4R34 manual winding automatic movement . It has 24 jewels and a power reserve of approximately 41 hours. It is water resistant up to 100 meters , meaning it can be worn when diving.
