Orient Star Diver 1964 Second Edition 41 mm RE-AU0602E00B Automatic Steel Watch at the Best Price. Official Retailer.
This new edition of the Diver 1964 is based on the Calendar Auto Orient , one of the company's first diver's watches launched in 1964. The Calendar Auto Orient featured simple dot indices on a mirror-black finished dial, hands designed for excellent visibility, a bezel incorporating an anodized aluminum ring, and clearly defined lugs.
While the new Diver 1964 Second Edition reflects the legacy designs of the original model, a screw-down caseback, a double-curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, and a water resistance of 200 meters that meets the ISO 6425 standard for air-powered diving watches.
It also features the F6N47 automatic movement from the 46-F6 series caliber, which delivers high precision and a power reserve of over 50 hours. This black version is a faithful tribute to the Calendar Auto Orient , featuring a mirror-black finish on the matte green dial and a matching matte green bezel surface. The green gradation of the dial is inspired by Ryusendo Cave in Iwate Prefecture, Japan, the most beautiful and mysterious limestone cavern in the world. The case is made of high-quality stainless steel (SUS316L), and its compact 41mm diameter makes it ideal for everyday wear.
The five-link metal strap is made of the same stainless steel, providing a distinctive presence on the wrist and a comfortable fit. A diver's extension case and a triple deployment clasp with push-button safety catch are included, making the watch practical for use while playing sports or walking around town.
The pyramid-shaped ridges on the additional silicone strap echo the metal strap design of the original Calendar Auto Oriente, providing a distinct look to enjoy.
