Seiko Prospex The Black Series Limited Edition features automatic movement. The case of this Samurai measures 43.8 mm and both its case and strap are completely black. The new design "The Black Series" expresses the world of green and black seen through night vision goggles. By adopting the newly developed "Green Lumibright Pro", which features higher brightness and longer glow time than common colored Lumibright, the same visibility is ensured in light and dark places. It is a limited edition of 8,000 units.

Seiko fans nickname this watch shape "Samurai", due to its angular shape design that looks as if it has been cut by a Japanese Samurai sword.
