Grand Seiko Elegance "Asakague" 37.3mm SBGW267 steel and leather watch

This model evokes the image of Asakague, the dazzling morning sunlight that is absorbed by the shoji and gently illuminates the entire room. The shoji is a fundamental piece in traditional Japanese architecture and is made by covering a wooden fence with a traditional Japanese paper called washi and is used for windows, doors and even exterior walls.

The curved dial has a special washi pattern with its unique and elegant texture. The delicate reflected light creates a pale gradation, striking a soft harmony with the classic shape of the highly polished case with its boxy sapphire crystal.

Powered by caliber 9S64, a hand-wound mechanical movement that offers a high and stable level of precision, and a power reserve of three days when fully wound.

This Grand Seiko is made of stainless steel with a case-shaped sapphire crystal and anti-reflective coating on the inner surface.

It has resistance to splashes of water and magnetic resistance of 4,800 A/m.
